AboutUS
OURphilosophy
Our commitment to sustainable agriculture shapes our entire farm operation. We focus on diverse cultivation and always work in harmony with nature. That's why our cattle live with us from birth to slaughter. A functional farm cycle, direct marketing, biodiversity creation, and ecological agriculture are our main goals. We believe that agriculture must and can be conducted in respect of nature and animals.

OURhistory
The Fromburger farm is now in its third generation. The estate of about 65 hectares was acquired in 1952 by Jeff's grandparents, Camille and Jacqueline Weydert. Although they initially worked in the financial sector in the city of Luxembourg, they decided to venture into agriculture. Mechanization of agriculture began in the late 1950s with the purchase of the first tractor, replacing 18 workhorses, and the estate, which previously belonged to the Trier Abbey, was gradually refurbished. After years of development, Jean-Paul and Marie-Jeanne took over the farm in the 1980s and greatly influenced it. Black and white Holstein dairy cows were the pride of the family and the heart of the farm business for decades.
In 1990, the first guests were welcomed here on vacation. In the beginning, there were only two small studios, but the number of holiday apartments was gradually increased, becoming an important pillar of the farm. Many loyal customers regularly return to spend their holidays at Fromburger farm. We still know very little about the country's history, but the Fromburger farm is drawn on the first "map" of Luxembourg from 1579. It remains a complete research area, and we will try to discover other exciting stories from our farm's past.
