Angus cattle herd
The heart of our farm cycle is our Angus cattle herd with their calves, which spend their entire lives here, from birth to slaughter. The Angus is a beef breed originally from Scotland. They graze almost year-round outdoors and eat hay and silage from our meadows in winter. The meat quality of this breed is exceptionally good and the natural lifestyle of our animals positively influences taste and quality. You can buy Angus beef from our farm shops.
Our vegetable garden
From spring to autumn, we harvest vegetables in our garden and supply ourselves and about 75 other families with delicious vegetables. We practice sustainable and nature-friendly agriculture. Growing tomatoes on over 2000 square meters in our greenhouses is particularly close to our hearts. This is done not only on the farm in the CSA community garden, but also in Altrier.
88 kW photovoltaic
We produce much more electricity, than we need!
In addition, a large part of the farm is supplied with hot water by wood heating with storage. The wood comes from our own 5-hectare forest.

Our animal residents
Our 100 chickens supply the farm shops daily with highly demanded eggs. We also have a few cute rabbits and guinea pigs, cats and our dear farm dog Kira, who is everyone's favorite among children. Balou and Baghira, our goats, protect the chickens and enjoy treats that children bring.
Here you can experience active farming with all your senses!
